Terms of Service

Last updated: June 24, 2026

By using BidHound's website and services, you agree to the following terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. What BidHound Does

BidHound provides done-for-you bid intelligence for trade contractors. We research, score, and qualify general contractors, developers, and other entities that may hire subcontractors in your trade and territory. We deliver this research as a lead dashboard and outreach playbook.

BidHound is a research and lead qualification service, not a job placement service, not a bidding platform, and not a guarantee of contracted work.

2. What You're Paying For

You are paying for research, lead qualification, scoring, and the delivery of a dashboard and outreach materials. Specific deliverables are outlined on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

Scout is a one-time purchase. Pack and Alpha are monthly subscriptions. All plans include the dashboard and playbook. Monthly plans include recurring lead refreshes as described.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

Monthly plans: You can cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future billing. You keep access to your dashboard and all leads delivered up to the cancellation date.

One-time (Scout): Non-refundable after delivery. If we haven't started research yet, we'll issue a full refund — just ask.

If we miss delivery: If your leads aren't delivered within the stated timeframe (48 hours for Scout, 48 hours for first delivery on Pack/Alpha), we'll refund your purchase. No questions asked.

To cancel or request a refund, email hello@thebidhound.com.

4. Lead Quality & Limitations

We qualify every lead against four criteria: trade fit, territory match, active project history, and reachability. However:

If a lead turns out to be a bad fit (wrong trade, wrong territory, out of business), we'll replace it at no charge.

5. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

6. Intellectual Property

The dashboard, playbook, scoring methodology, and all research deliverables are provided for your internal business use. You own the lead data. You may not resell, redistribute, or white-label BidHound's research as your own service.

7. Limitation of Liability

BidHound's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages — including lost profits or missed business opportunities — arising from use of our service.

8. Service Availability

We reserve the right to refuse service to any trade, territory, or individual at our discretion. We may also limit the number of active clients in a given territory to avoid saturating the same market for multiple subscribers.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Active subscribers will be notified of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Marion County, Florida.

11. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at hello@thebidhound.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If we can't resolve it, either party may pursue claims in the courts of Marion County, Florida.

12. Class Action Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to resolve disputes with BidHound on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.

13. Force Majeure

BidHound is not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, pandemic, internet or utility outages, or third-party service failures (e.g., Stripe, Netlify, Resend). In such cases, we will resume service as soon as reasonably possible.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BidHound regarding the service.

16. DMCA / Copyright

If you believe content on our site infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to hello@thebidhound.com with: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) identification of the infringing material, (3) your contact information, (4) a statement of good faith belief, and (5) a statement under penalty of perjury.
